Drone/UAP Incursions Cluster (2024)

Beginning in October 2024, widespread reports of unidentified drones/UAP emerged across 15 US states — New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and others. Objects appeared nightly, estimated at 6 feet wingspan, flew in restricted airspace including near Picatinny Arsenal and Wright-Patterson AFB. By December, the Pentagon stated it could not identify many of the objects. DHS, FBI, and FAA opened parallel investigations. Congress held classified briefings. The New Jersey Governor declared a state of emergency over the unrestricted airspace activity.
